Wow. It's been nearly two years since I thought I have anything to say that's worth saying on a blog.

There have been lots of drama, don't get me wrong. I don't like to type about family much and these days there's quite a bit that's not quite right. Some of it I know, some I'm guessing. Like David Tennant's run on Doctor Who, I know that I'm witnessing some endings. Or I was. Right now, there are two relatives I'm heavily disappointed in and a third who I just want nothing to do with.

As my potential mother-in-law has quipped "another holiday season and another set of relatives he's arguing with." And as usual, there's more in play that just the obvious.

I had a couple of potential creative projects also fall down and go boom. One I hear is still going one, but my input and eagerness, combined with a difference of vision has made them a bit gun shy about further attempts until "they're done." Oh well, such as life.

It's not all bad. I'm not alone. I still have my girlfriend and neither one of us wants to break that up.

So this leave me once again to my own wanderings and a chance to see and do things I had mentally blocked myself out of before. Nothing rash. I'm not that wild a guy. Mostly geeky stuff, comics and television I hadn't seen, etc. Some I think I have outgrown. Essential Moon Knight and Essential Ghost Rider seem to be falling in that category.

And then there's Doctor Who, which has been my on-again, off-again obsession for nearly two decades now. It's back on and I've ordered from Amazon all of the Peter Davison Who Dvds I haven't gotten with the exception of Time Flight which I forgot to put on my wishlist when I ordered, but I got the E-Space Trilogy in it's place.

I like Doctor Who a lot. It's the one television show that changes constantly and embraces every one of those changes, even if some go better than others. I know the last time I rebooted this thing I was into the audios as well, but out of the 130+, I've stalled around 30. Don't worry. With me, it's a matter of time.

All things will pass. Including my brushes with blogging. Hence the new title. Hopefully, I will post a lot sooner than 96 weeks the next time.
